In the AI Policy Lab, we examine how regulatory frameworks, standards, and oversight mechanisms can ensure that AI systems are designed and used in ways that are lawful, accountable, and aligned with societal values. It includes the analysis of emerging legislation, soft law instruments, and industry practices, as well as engagement with policymakers and stakeholders to support effective and adaptive regulatory approaches.
